The Verso Care Duo series by Normbau has been specially developed to meet the needs of people with dementia or severe visual impairments. The basic colour is white, with important areas such as handles and stops, seating elements and other functional parts in red. Red provides a strong contrast and is therefore easily recognisable even with impaired vision. At the same time, it is a learned signal colour. Studies suggest that the colour red makes it easier for dementia patients to find their way around and gives them a sense of security.
Verso Care Duo has the same design and functional features as the well-known Verso Care series. The single-point wall mounting without roses gives the system a purist, elegant look. It thus simplifies installation and is easy to clean, as there are fewer corners and edges at the mounting points. Nylon surfaces are generally easy to clean. A special feature is the Normbau Vario System, which makes it possible to equip bathrooms flexibly. It consists of a permanently mounted base plate with cover plate blind that can be fitted with lift-up support rails, wall support rails, lift-up shower seats and more, as required. The functional elements can be mounted and dismantled in a few easy steps.
The range includes everything that is required for barrier-free bathroom fittings. Lift-up support rails, grab bars and grab rails are available for the toilet. In the shower area, shower handrails, shower head rails, suspendable shower seats and shower curtain rails can be combined in a variety of ways. Matching shelves, toilet brush sets, toilet roll holders and tumbler holders in the contrasting white-red design are available for aesthetic bathroom furnishings in a single mould.
